Description:
The Wanshengli geocell is a load support and erosion control product used to provide strength, stability and erosion control to base layers of soil, sand, gravel and rock. When filled with a suitable aggregate, the Geocell provides a substantial lateral strength and retention that prevents the material from shifting sideways and eroding from heavy or repetitive traffic. The Geocell helps spread any applied weight over a greater area, and significantly reduces weather erosion.
The material is perfect for construction of driveways, road, and trails. It is ideal for use on slopes and embankments to prevent erosion and to keep material in place.
The geocell saves time and money by reducing the amount of material needed to form a solid base layer as well as the time and man-power it takes to spread it. The structural coefficient of a 4” layer of sandy soil is 5 x greater when used with Geocell and has an equivalent structural coefficient of 10” of crushed stone and 12.7” of sandy gravel.
Load support geocell is utilized in horizontal applications and provide a honeycomb style reinforcement of aggregate or soil by confining materials and preventing lateral movement away from the applied load. It serves as a means to increase the load-bearing capacity of a given area, and it does so by distributing said load over each of the different cells, which are filled with the aggregate of your choosing. These cells can be filled with a variety of different aggregates and other lower-quality materials, and can be installed under grass, pavers, and gravel. If you choose to fill with gravel we also carry gravel ok, a clear and permeable binder that further aids in load distribution.

Installation
Prepare the area by removing old soil, vegetation and debris.
Put a sub-base layer if necessary and grade as necessary.
Pin down one of our drainage fabrics or ground covers if necessary for separation and stability.
Stake out the Geocell's using rebar, stakes or large anchor pins. If necessary cut Geocell ahead of time with a hand saw (recipricating saw works great).
Fill the Geocell with your soil, sand, gravel or rock material and rake level.
