Wanshengli brand HDPE geocell is widely used in construction for erosion control, soil stabilization on flat ground and steep slopes, channel protection, and structural reinforcement for load support and earth retention.Typical cellular confinement systems are geosynthetics made with ultrasonically welded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) strips or PP and expanded on-site to form a honeycomb-like structure—and filled with sand, soil, rock, gravel or concrete.
Load support geocell is utilized in horizontal applications and provide a honeycomb style reinforcement of aggregate or soil by confining materials and preventing lateral movement away from the applied load. It serves as a means to increase the load-bearing capacity of a given area, and it does so by distributing said load over each of the different cells, which are filled with the aggregate of your choosing. These cells can be filled with a variety of different aggregates and other lower-quality materials, and can be installed under grass, pavers, and gravel. If you choose to fill with gravel we also carry gravel ok, a clear and permeable binder that further aids in load distribution.
